Understanding advanced functionality makes it easier for PMs to build and manage an effective project plan. Application Portfolio Management/Technology Portfolio Management

This course teaches the concepts, features, and functions of the Troux Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Troux Technology Portfolio Management (TPM) solution offerings from a best-practices perspective. Upon completion of this course, decision-makers will learn to answer critical portfolio planning questions using dynamic real-time reports, assess proposed changes to the technology and application portfolios, and identify appropriate portfolio change initiatives.

Insight Customizations

Troux Insight Customization provides a hands-on introduction to best practices for customizing the Insight data model, using calculated properties, and defining custom lifecycle types. Upon completion of this course, students will understand the architecture for Troux Insight, knowledge of how to extend the Insight data model for out-of-the-box primary component types, knowledge of how to extend the Insight data model for new primary component types, an introduction to using calculated properties and advanced Insight customization approaches, and knowledge of how to define a custom life-cycle type.
