You are welcome to attend any breakout session listed on the agenda. We encourage you to plan your schedule prior to the event as there is limited seating and open to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Meet the Experts sessions are designed similar to “office hours” and is your opportunity to get your specific questions answered by a Planview Expert. Our Meet the Expert sessions will typically have a short topic presentation and then open-ended time for Q&A discussion.
- Meet the Expert sessions will be held the morning of Wednesday, October 10th. Please make travel arrangements accordingly.

The conference hotel is about 10 miles from the airport and there are shuttles, taxis, and ride-share services available at the airport.
The conference will take place Wednesday, October 10th through Friday, October 12th. If you plan to attend additional “training” and/or the Meet the Expert sessions taking place Tuesday morning, we suggest you make your travel arrangements to arrive earlier in the week.

There is WIFI access in the guest rooms. The conference area will have password protected WiFi access available, as well (password will be provided at check-in).
Yes, If you require a special dietary meal, please indicate this during the conference registration process or email Horizons@planview.com. We will inform the hotel in advance. The JW Marriott will have vegetarian options as part of the standard menu.
In Texas, the weather is usually on the warm side. Fall in Austin is typically comfortable for most visitors with an average high temperature between 70-90° Fahrenheit. View the current weather conditions in Austin.
Dress code is business casual during the conference day portion and casual for the evening event (There will be a theme, so have a little fun with it!); dress for comfort. We suggest carrying a light sweater or wrap as conference rooms are notoriously known for being chilly.
Yes, Planview is a Registered Education Provider (Global Provider) through the Project Management Institute (PMI). PMP credential holders may receive 10 PDUs for attending the Horizons.
- To ensure you receive credit, you must provide your PMI member ID during registration. This will enable us to submit a claim once the event ends. If you have any questions, please contact us at Horizons@planview.com.
